A QUICK UPDATE. SUMMER SOLSTICE

Dear blog friends and family,
     We were out of Vancouver just a few hours when my phone rang.  My dear mom was in the hospital in Reno.  So we turned south instead of north toward Coeur d'alene, Idaho.  We got to Reno in time to help move mom from the hospital to a new memory care home.  Just as we were feeling better about mom, we got another call.  Our nephew in Sacramento was in ICU after emergency abdominal surgery.  We got in our rig and are now in Sacramento.
    Also NO photos!  My camera is fried.  Have you ever tried to charge your camera, with a cord that doesn't belong to your camera, and by plugging the cord into the port that exports photos?  As soon as everything settles down we will get a new camera and share our trip. We love being able to help.  So until then to our praying readers, please remember us.

Here we are getting our final tooth inspection! This is the best dentist in the world. Dr. Tony Elford.  We love his Canadian comments.  Did you know a hockey stick is considered a FINE Christmas present up there?  All we needed was a small filling repair and a little bonding on a small chipped tooth.
