Livin' and lovin' the trailer park life!

We have lived in two trailer parks since last November while we visited Scottsdale, AZ.  We have met really wonderful people here!
We went to a couple of spring training baseball games.  He are Bryan and Steve enjoying a Giants vs Mariners game last week.
By now you might recognize our RV in the background.  Somehow the annual Roadrunner parade lines up right where we were parked.
Bryan and I ( D & S) were hijacked into the parade by Nancy (O) the boss, at the last minute.  The usual D and S were judging the chili contest and couldn't make it.
The fire department participated in the parade.  Believe me everybody LOVES these guys.  They are here every couple of days helping people out.
EVERYONE keeps their property in top notch shape.  This is one of our favs.
Some WWII vets led the parade.
The float that won, was made by our neighbors and Rockhound members,  Tim and Nancy Leland from Duluth MN.  The base of the float was made from our dolly,  the trailer that pulls our little VW Beetle.
With all the rain in Jan/Feb the cactii are looking so great.
A cool lady that was part of the parade. There are a ton of activities here.  There is a dance every saturday night.
Steve and Gwen bought an RV when they came.  This is Steve doing his test drive.  He said,  "This is just like driving the beer truck in Idaho".

We have loved it here at the 55 + resort.  We'll most likely come back next winter.  It has been great living near our kids.  We have met some great people too.  Tomorrow we are back on the road for some new adventures.  We are going to Death Valley and Grand Canyon with the Angel and Diaz families.   Really looking forward to that and will hopefully find the desert in bloom.  We send our love and best wishes to everybody.  I guess our love is as mobile as our home and just as carefree!
