With all the rain this winter California is an amazing sight! But before we get to that, we went to granddaughter Mary's play. |
Mary was in her first high school play. It was well done, funny and great choregraphy. Bryan (L) and Steve and Gwen (R). |
Mary (in the center) was a cheerleader in the play and a camera operator. She said it was the most fun she'd ever had! These are two of her lifelong friends that came to see the play. |
It was fun helping shop for a motorhome. LaMesa RV had the perfect one for Steve and Gwen. |
Gassing up before we headed out. It took a long time pumping 150 or so gallons of gas! |
Cool sunset reminding us of our youth in So. Cal. |
Mt San Jacinto from Desert Hot Springs RV park. Thanks to Gwen for this and many other photos. |
We traveled together for a couple of weeks. We took turns cooking dinner. Breakfast was on our own. Thank goodness because S&G get up waaaayyyy earlier than we do. |
The big mineral pool at Desert Hot Springs. We older kids love the way the water helps us feel better. |
Steve dreaming of the day when self driving RV's are a reality. Next stop, Morro Bay and Hearst Castle. Tune in next time! |
Good job Mary! How much fun its been for me to read and see (even tho we do talk) what my siblings are up to. Love, Annie
ReplyDeleteOh I wanted to mention how pretty gorgeous that younger Mary Burke is. She oughta be in pictures. Quite a theatrical talent without me ever seeing her in a play. Love, Annie
